LED Array
Code: L1008
A versatile LED Array that allows the student to investigate how the colour of light is determined by its wavelength. The unit comprises of 10 coloured LEDs plus white fitted into a steel housing. A selector switch allows each individual colour to be selected or all colours simultaneously. When used with a diffraction grating the unit may be used to determine the wavelength of a particular colour of light.
When all the colours are viewed through a diffraction grating, it allows the student to observe the effect that the changing wavelength has on the diffraction pattern.
When used with colour filters, toffee papers etc. it allows a study of coloured light transmission.
- Fitted with on/off switch.
- Supplied with plug top PSU.
