Loudspeaker Amplifier
Code: IPC-4619-W
A recently upgraded audio amplifier (IPC-4619-W) with a minimum voltage gain of 40 (32dB), this amplifier operates from power supply voltages of 9V to 12VDC smoothed and regulated. Power supply connection is via Red and Black 4mm sockets on the front panel and the unit is internally protected against incorrect power supply polarity.
Output signals can be via the internal loudspeaker or can be fed from a pair of output 4mm sockets, this allows amplified signals to be displayed on an oscilloscope or used to drive a separate speaker etc.. The recently upgraded frequency response allows a full audio range (20Hz to 20kHz) along with a high end response upto 300kHz. A two-position switch is used to switch between the internal speaker or the signal output sockets.
Signal input is made via a pair of 4mm sockets on the front panel and a volume/gain control is provided. The unit can be used for a wide range of experiments and demonstrations. Input impedance is 500k ohms (approx.) and as such the unit can be driven directly from a crystal microphone, signal generator, radio headphone output etc.
The unit is supplied in a robust ABS plastic case along with operating instructions.
