Standard Radiation Test Source (K40)

This Standard Radiation Test Source using K-40 (IPC-6225-R) allows school laboratories to perform their own GM Tube (eg. ZP1481) and Scaler operating efficiency testing. The test source comprises of a transparent acrylic slide with a 13mm diameter disc containing 300mg of Potassium Chloride, which is a naturally occurring radioactive compound due to the presence of 0.0117% of Potassium-40 (K-40).
